Prison Music Program

Once a month, BLMF hosts a live music concert for Texans incarcerated at the Travis County State Jail Facility.

This beautiful program is at the request of Chaplain Jeremy Koch. We are extremely glad to bring local musicians in for the enjoyment and mental health of our neighbors. Music is a healing, healthy community experience.

Since we pay musicians a living wage for their time, we invite you to support this program with a monthly donation below…

If you are a musician who would like to participate in this program, please reach out to our Executive Director at robert@bastroplivemusicfoundation.org

If you have any media requests or would like to learn about the program, please reach out to our Executive Director at robert@bastroplivemusicfoundation.org

“Every Texan deserves dignity and access to our culture. Monthly concerts are an offering of solidarity and connection to our community members locked away by a system that is primarily interested in punishment.

Please support BLMF’s ability to bring music to all Texans by making a sustainable monthly donation. Monthly donations allow us to budget for our events. Every dollar helps!” - Sophia Mirto, Development Director
